I for one am getting really put out with people that make a post about a
sick animal or ailment and ask for our help but then leave us hanging. At
least you could acknowledge our feedback and keep us posted about the
condition of the animal--one way or the other. You get us all worried and
concerned and that's the last we hear from you.I have better things to
do"thank you very much" than to be bothered by an ingrate.  DEW

Yeah, I agree.  That, and people who post about giving away kittens for
free.

Well actually I don't object to the posts about giving away the kittens.I
for one am very selective to whom I let adopt my little ones.I make sure
they are old enough that some jackass with an exotic snake can't use them
for python food.   DEW

And a nice gal w/ her elderly sister...they're dressed for church, and they
want two of your kittens?  If you think an animal abuser can't dress nice,
you've got another thing coming.  A local store here (I know the owners)
gave two kittens away to two elderly sisters.  They said they were both
widowed and wanted some "cat company".  Two days later, one of the ladies
came in and tried to get two more kittens, (but through the husband in the
store) this time.  He didn't let them go, because she had been in before.
He knew of her because she had been arrested for several charges of animal
abuse.  They were using the kittens as bait to catch and kill coyotes on
their property!!

I told the wife to PLEASE start charging $25 per kitty...  unless she knows
them purrsonally.

Point taken Laurie.

That is revolting - - I hope someone used those old bats for LIVE bait..

That humans can do such sick things to defenseless babies makes me ill to
know that I belong to the same species.

I do hope that these women ended up with a punishment that fit the crime.

I agree, Mel.  It's so sickening.  And they were killing the coyotes too.

Well, they may have hoomin skin, but they *aren't* hoomin!!

I don't know when they were charged with the animal abuse.  I sure as hell
hope that neighbors or someone is keeping an eye on them.  I can't stand the
thought of either animal suffering at the hands of two old bats!
