Hi all I live in Wisconsin and I am wondering if anyone knows where I can
purchase a Serval cat? I have been looking for awhile but with no luck,
any help would be appreciated.

Well, Raven the dictionary says they are an African wildcat so my
suggestion would be check some place that handles exotic pets.May I ask
why you prefer such an animal?

well the reason that I am interested in owning one of these, is my mother
used to raise them and they were great pets, I enjoyed them alot when I
was younger, I now have kids and would like my children to enjoy them
also, they are the greatest...Besides owning typical "house Cats" which I
have 7 of....was just looking for information. Gary thanks for your input
but you told me nothing I didn't know......nice to know there are such
helpful people on this site, you have such a great way with people...NOT!!
well Ty Knucklehead I will try an exotic shop.

If you google this ng and go back a year or two (maybe more), Raven, you
should find a few posts from someone who raised or at least owned Servals.
I remember a discussion on exotic animals where this guy weighed in with his
opinion that Servals did well in captivity. If he used a valid e-mail
address, there's your contact.
Now, I'm curious: is there no problem with having Servals and domestic cats
in the same household?

BB Diana and thank you for the info......as far as how they are with
domestic cats...we never had a problem....but they were all raised
together. I really don't know how they would react just bringing in one
with cats that are older.....I would say that they would all still have to
get used to each other none the less:)
well I am gonna search the site and see if I cant find this mans posts.
