Hello All
I have a 4 1/2 year old male cat, picked it up from the SPCA. Tigg
is a domestic long hair, grey and white male, he was neutered and
declawed at the time. I think I felt sorry for him, apparently his last
owner had him for less then a year.
Anyway I had a problem with him today, one of many - but I need some
advice on this one, we were in my and driving down a highway when he
decided to sit on my lap, for the first time, he looked out the window a
couple of times and then crouched down on my lap. I thought nothing of
it, a few seconds later he put his head under my arm, this is strange I
thought, but all of a sudden my right leg was getting warmer, and then I
thought OH NO, yes he urinated on my leg and the car seat, then a few
other places after I picked him up and put him down on the other seat. I
was mad, but he may of been mad as well, he may of not wanted to go on
the drive, who knows ( he won't tell me) LOL.
A question for all, how do I get that smell out of the car seat. The
stuff that I purchased at the pet stores doesn't seem to work, I'll be
trying a car wash tomorrow, shampoo the seat. Any help out there, Thanks
in advance.

Borax works well for removing odors. Spray the upholstery with water,
then dump a bunch of Borax powder on it. I'd let it sit overnight
to dry. Then vacuum it all up. Borax is a wonderful cleaner and it
is usually sold in the laundry detergent aisle.

We took in a male cat who has been fixed but he continues to spray or pee
often.
We use Tough Stuff and 409 and just clean it up real good.
