I was shown a web site that should be shut down. www.savetoby.com We need to
stop this idiot before his success encourages others to try the same thing
(with kitties maybe?).
I've sent a message to both his domain name proxy service (people hiding who
he is)  http://www.domainsbyproxy.com  abuse@domainsbyproxy.com and the
company that registered his domain name and is probably hosting his site
https://www.godaddy.com  abuse@godaddy.com   These are links to their web
pages and links so you can send them an e-mail to complain about this site.
The person that showed me this site has also contacted CNN to see if they
would do a story on it to get more people to complain about this crook and
get his site shut down.
He is also using paypal  www.paypal.com to receive his blood money. I have
contacted
them so hopefully they will cut off his source of income from this site.
Thank you

Yes but the payments to paypal work and the company he is linked to for
items to buy is a common place to get stuff from. It's not a question of if
the man is lying as it is a trueth he's getting money for his bull story.
It's a way of setting a nasty trend. They (The server - IP) won't take it
down because it's not hurting "anyone". Just like bonsa kitty. Plus, there
is no law saying you can not eat rabbit. It is considerd a farm, meat, fur,
pelt and whatever else they do with it animal. They didn't take down bonsia
kitty!!

I am only anoyed at what other people might do in taking this thing too far
and actually hurting pets and people.

It's damned good eating too.

FFS, why don't you complain about the grocery store in Pittsburgh that's
selling a big-assed lobster estimated to be over 100 years old?

It's only $500 - I'm sure if you buy it you can set it free again.

A joke has a punch line. This guy is trying to make money by threatening to
do something people would find objectionable unless he's paid not to do it
(extortion). His links for payment are functional. I would say this is a
pretty sick joke except that the potential for making money from a threat
crosses the line between bad taste and criminal activities.

its a good joke
nobody would do that for real, so you'd have to be a complete retard (or
be a member of PeTA...) to go along with it.

That's debateable. Most say it's pretty sick.

You must be a complete retard (probably why you use a nick like
"dinkmeister") if you think people would not do something like this for
"real". Read the papers, people do worse than this just to spite others.
After all, "fact is stranger than fiction."
People grow rabbits for food, it's not illegal and weather or not he eats
his pet or not isn't the point. Telling people you'll do something unless
they pay you not to and then making it possible for you to pay them is
extortion. Kind of like what hackers are doing to businesses now. Telling
them they won't hack into and shut down their networks if so much money is
deposited in a certain offshore bank account. Some businesses actually pay,
others get shut down and it can cost them millions that the rest of us pay
for in increased product prices.
Please do not reply to this as you have all the trappings of a "troll" so
I've blocked your messages and won't see any thing else you post. I only
replied this time to clarify things to anyone else reading this thread.
Extortionist == terrorists. Letting one get away with it only encourages
others.
