Nice photos, Stone.  Gretchen and Emily are such pretty girls!  Gretchen's
tabby markings are especially striking.

How do they respond when they see raccoons?  Some years ago I had cats and
'coons sharing some of the same territory.  My cats could be not three feet
from a raccoon, yet pretend not to see it.  Same for the raccoons.  They all
very deliberately just didn't acknowledge each others' presence.  Odd, but
it worked for them.

They pretty much accept one another, the only problem last year was the baby
coons curiosity. The cats just walk away though. The mama coon really likes
Emily and they will sit and watch the babies. I was apprehensive at first
but I keep them up on their rabies and other shots. I doubt the coon would
give up her turf, nor would the cats so they just kind of naturally co
exist. Emily likes to growl at the deer and the deer just look at her. They
also seem to know to stay away from the porcupines and skunks. They haven't
to my knowledge encountered the bear yet. Her den is about 1000 feet form
here.
