That's wonderful, Tom, so glad to hear it. :)

We were changing apartments a couple of years ago and had the move all
planned out, get the keys on Monday, move some boxes to the new place after
work on Monday and Tuesday, bring the cat down for a run about the place on
the Wednesday, let her check it out, get familar with the new smells etc and
finally move everything else in on the Saturday.
The plan was to let her stay in the new place while we unpacked some boxes
and then return to the old apartment where our bed etc was. Well, she took
to the new place so quickly my wife thought that bring her back to the old
apartment was a bad idea. So we broke out two camping cots for my wife and
I, put some old clothes on a chair and the three of us, slept the night
away.
Upon reflection it was a better approach to introducing her to a new
place....
Saying that.... in June our apartment's air conditioner failed and the
apartment quickly heated up to 90 plus degrees ( hey, it's Arizona ). The
management offered to move us and the cats ( now two ) to one of the show
apartments while the ac was being repaired. The poor cats were doing the
best they could to cool themselves down.
What a bad idea that turned out to be. Our youngest cat had no problems and
just went exploring about the show apartment, the eldest just wanted out of
there, quickly. She paced up and down, meowed and meowed and meowed, I was
just thankful to be in an air conditioned place.
