We have recently bought 2 kittens, 1 male and 1 female both have been
desexed.

We have started letting them out and they have very quickly learnt how to go
under the fence and next door.  Although we realize this will happen we are
not really ready to let them go off on their own.  We would be more
comfortable if we had a way to get them to back.

So the question is, how do you train a kitten to come back when you call it?
or how do you call them? or How long will it be before they will generally
come back on their own?

Or answer any question you make up your self relating to our problem.

Thank you

well when ever I fed my out door cats from early age I always tapped the
fork against their food dished or rattle the food box, and called them.  So
whenever I wanted them in if calling them didn't work I would rattle the box
of food outside they soon come in.
I only ever let them out when they were hungry anyway to start off with.
