I know, me bad!  I posted some pictures to the binaries group, and they
posted here by mistake.  I don't know what happened, unless the messages
were posted to both ngs because I didn't change header.  It's strange,
because only alt.pets.cats shows up here.

I humbly apologize and will definitely honor the alt.pets.cats rule of not
posting pictures.

If you would like to see more pictures of the kittens, please check out the
binaries group.

Again, sorry!!  I'll try to find out what happened.

I'm curious. I'm toot computer stupid to figure out how to post a picture
her, so no one needs to worry  about that but I'd like to know what a
binaries group is. What is it and where can I find it?

The one for pets is called

       alt.binaries.pictures.animals

and you just find it in the same way as you find any other NG.  Many
ISPs [including mine] have different rules for binary NGs.

You cross-posted: you had two newsgroups in your header and then the
article header appears in both groups, and it is read by anyone who
opens it in either group.  It is the best of way of including an article
that is suitable for more than one group: much better than posting an
article twice [called multi-posting].  However, an article containing a
binary is not suitable for such treatment!
