Hello all --
I may be about to adopt or foster a little two month old kitten whose mama
won't let him nurse. (I'll find out tomorrow).
Can any of you give me some ideas of what his needs might be?
Will i need to get special formula, etc??
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

at two months, he should be eating on his own. If he is under weight, you
can supplement with KMR or Kitten Glop (recipe on the net. do a google
search) If he hasn't figured out how to eat yet, dip his nose in the wet
food. Get a good quality kitten food that isn't iams or science diet cause
most cats hate those. If that doesn't work, then open his mouth and put a
small amount inside it.

His mother isnt nursing him because she is trying to wean him. he
should be on solids by now. Are the owners providing him with proper
kitten food? most kitten food is also suitable for pregnant and nursing
queens.
