Was having a bath the other day when my kitten came to investigate(he
likes to play in the bath when empty).  He jumped up and walked along
the side and i was sure he would fall in but he didn't, he sniffed the
bubbles and one foot slipped down and touched the bubbles so he jumped
down and ran off.
About 20mins later when i was considering getting out he came back and
jumped up again, it was a lot slippier by now and he had realised this,
so he sat down on the corner behind me.  I had completely forgotten he
was still there when i heard a splash and turned round to see the poor
bugger scratching madly trying to get out, so i scooped him out and he
ran off.
My back was scratched and the poor cat was soaked, he looked
dreadful, as he is pure white usually he now looked pink and very
skinny!  Daft thing was he came straight back to investigate when he had
dried off! He still plays in there, only difference was that the next
time i had a bath he just kept putting his paws up to be nosey rather
than jumping up!
The one thing that really impressed me was how quickly he managed to
dry himself off by licking himself, those tongues are brilliantly designed!

My cat got hairballs a few days after I gave him a bath too, but I got some
laxatone hairball stuff (in a tube) and feed him a little bit right after the
bath and then again the next day and he ends up hairball-free.
