Re this ?whatver it is?
To all the normally sane people out there:
Simply ignore anything from this nutter.
If it responds to a group message ... just totally ignore it.
The only way it will go away is to IGNORE IT...please!

Possibly the only thing worse than someone like Electric Nachos, is someone
without a shred of tolerance for what other people may think or say, no
matter how absurd.

USENET is composed of public forums, and public means any and all topical
posts are welcome.  Just because you don't like what that freak has to say,
does not in any way negate his/her/it's right to say it.  I may have missed
the part where you were appointed the local posting-cop.  If so, I
apologize.

Your newsreader must surely have a killfile.  Maybe your energy would be
better spent on learning how to filter posts, thereby controlling your own
newsreader... rather than taking the junior high school route and forming
some kind of identical-thought crew.

Just a thought.   :-\

Dear Hilly (Just a thought)

No I am cetainly NOT the 'local posting cop'
If you didn't like what I had to say then there was no need to reply was
there?
You sound as bad as the other 'it' that posts useless information on these
groups.

I'm just someone who likes to look & read the thoughts & advice from folks
that regularly help us in the different groups.

So now you've put your bit in.. congratulations, I notice no-one else cares
about your comments either.
Don't knock me that I'm no computer nerd that knows anything about
'killfiles'.
As I already mentioned I read the groups I enjoy to simply do that
(enjoy/learn/sometimes help).

No other reason.

By the way I spent  no energy at all by posting my thoughts, also by the way
what is 'the junior high school route and forming
some kind of identical-thought crew'?

I'm obviously very dumb, but then again I'm very happy usually, hope you're
happy too.

Goodbye from not a nerd

... and yet, you issued a directive for others to ignore a particular
poster.

Considering that, including this one, I have made a total of three posts
here... I don't see how you can qualify that statement.  Oh, unless you were
just insulting me.   :-)

And, apparently, take it upon yourself to single-out certain contributors...
and implore other people to ignore same.

Were you looking for some kind of mass-disapproval to appear after my post?

::shrug::

I don't really care about anyone else liking or disliking what I type.

When you get behind the wheel of a car and adjust the seat and mirrors...
does that make you a 'driving nerd'?

The whole idea is this:  USENET is **public**.  Instead of throwing a
hissy-fit over one or a few people expressing their thoughts, you should
take control over your computer and filter-out the posts from people you
don't wish to see.

Of course, if reading posts from Electric Nachos somehow gives your life
meaning... then by all means continue.

Then why don't you put a sock in it when it comes to other people posting
topical information?  Maybe, in their minds, they are doing the same.

... if you can't put 2 and 2 together and get 4... then I'm certainly in no
position to help you.

You shouldn't be so hard on yourself... or others.

Silly Hilly Billy
I don't drive a car, hope you don't either.
If you do I'm glad that I don't.
Goodbye
Good riddance
Get lost
This group is about.....................
Guess what that is:- our pet cats & the cats owners concerns, nothing else
needs to be posted here.
Bye
