Hi,
My cat is mostly white and his skin is very pinkish aroud his eyes and
ears, which almost gives the impression that he's albino. He gets
irriations now and then but he has one eye that winches most of the
time. It dosn't seem to be really causing any pain or bugging him.

I was thinking about trying some visine on him, after all it's non
toxic. Could that help? are the drops made specially for cats any better?

When it comes to albinos - the dictionary says:

1.. A person or animal lacking normal pigmentation, with the result being
that the skin and hair are abnormally white or milky and the eyes have a
pink or blue iris and a deep-red pupil.

I suggest that before you drop anything into the eye(s) of your cat that you
consult a vet and find out what's causing this. An OTC product may do the
trick but only a vet can tell you for sure.

I usually give my cat visine when he gets squinty in one eye, or
perscription antibiotic eye drops if the squintyness/eye-goo lasts
for more than a day. when you put in a drop, make sure you sorta
pull his eye open to get the drop in there good, and hold his head
because he'll immeditately try to shake his head back and forth.
btw, the antibiotic eye drops I got from the vet were the exact same
as the ones I got from my eye doctor when I got a piece of glass in my
eye.
