Okay i have medication from my vet for the earmites in my cat. However
I was curious if anyone else has had to deal with earmites and how
long does it take to get rid of them.

depends on the type of medication you are using.  There are meds you have to
use for over a month, because it wont kill the eggs, so you have to use it
for the entire cycle of the mite, and there are some that you should only
have to use once.

The vet gave me Eradimite and told me to do it once a week. It's been
about 5 and half weeks. And it she still has them.
