If, for some reason, that link doesn't work (when I tried it, the pictures
didn't come up), here is the long version to cut and paste...

His name is Max and that seems to suit him. What's really weird is that his
markings match precisely the marking on the kitten I just adopted. That
probably has something to do with my attraction to him too.

If you are even thinking about him grab him quick. His description is great.
He may have some large breed in his background that doesn't show except for
size. Bengals can get big and they are short haired.

Oooh, I'm going to have to check him out later today. I've been
looking for a big lovable cat, off and on, for a while. If he's just
big and _not_ fat, I may be tempted. I probably wont be able to be
adopted by him since I'm unemployed. But I am going to take a look.
Either way, it's been a little bit since I dropped by the NRH center.
There is a series of science fiction books written by David Weber that
tracks the career of Honor Harrington, an officer in a space navy.
Think of Honor as a female Horatio Hornblower and you'll have a sense of
the basic story line.
The point related to Max there, is he looks exactly like I would picture
Honor Harrington's companion, Nimitz, a six-legged empathic/telempathic
Sphinxian Treecat.

I'm not a good judge of weight, apparently, because the lady at the shelter
said he probably only weighs about 18 pounds. He still looks huge, and he's
soooo sweet. I'm bringing him home tomorrow :-) They said someone moved
away and left him in an apartment :-( I have got to stay away from that
place or I'll end of with a zoo in my house!!!
Oh, if you go up there, be sure to ask to see the cats in the back. They
have a ton more cats than what are up front. In fact, they have the fattest
cat I've ever seen, and a whole bunch of sweet little kittens.

I have no idea what kind of cat this one is but many years
ago I had an outdoor cat that weighed about 30 pounds.
