I recently photographed a cat with no ears or curled ears and a strange
posture.
Where could I post the picture so that a knowledgeable person could aid me
in identifying the cat.

Thanks,
gene rosen

I see that you have an earthlink account. They offer free webspace that
comes with your account. :o)

You could post to alt.binaries.pictures.animals (with a question asking for
identification), then also post a notice to this group to alert us to the
picture.

I have deleted the post on alt.binaries.pictures.animals as I mistakenly
posted three pics in 1 post which made it large and unwieldy..

Anyone who might like to venture an opinion, please write to me at and I
will send a pic in a smaller size easily viewable.

Sorry for the trouble.

I have 2 cats that are sisters, both from the same litter.  Both of the cats
have strange ears.  With them it's probably some sort of genetic mutation or
something, but it provoked me to do some research on cats.  I did find that
there is a breed of cat with folded ears, they are called "Scottish Fold".
I don't believe this breed of cats has a different posture than other cats,
just the cute folded ears.

You can find out more about them here...
