My wife and i have recently adopted 2 females ( sisters ) they're now about
12 weeks old.

Just today i've noticed that they're very lethargic, spend most of the day
sleeping.

Might this have something to do with the weather, ( it is very warm here on
LI today )

All cats sleep a lot.  But kittens at 12 qweeks should be up and
making
mischief.  You might want to ahve them checkd out for worms or a low-
grade infection such as a UTI.

Are they up to date on their booster shots?  Kittens require them at 6, 9,
12, and 15 weeks because it it not known exactly when the antibodies
received from the mother abate and the kitten starts manufacturing their
own. Lethargy can be a symptom of a disease about to break.

we have an appt. with the vet for the 17th.
They are "getting back to normal" in terms of they're activity. maybe i
worry to much.

They can get lazy on days when you have high heat AND humidity. On days like
that make sure they have plenty of fresh water available.
