I know I've seen a post out there recently, in some NG about using Advantage
for large dogs on cats - the exact dosage - anyone know where I can find the
information? It's time for treatments!
Thanks! JoJo

The dosage shouldn't be a problem, it's says right on the package what
size animal get's on whatever dosage you buy.
Advantage is very safe, if you check out their site, it says you can put
it on sooner than once a month.
Check with your vet about what size Advantage you need for your cat.

Advantage ... imidacloprid
9 lbs or LESS 0.4 ml
10 lbs & Up 0.8 ml
One tube of large dog Advantage contains 4 ml. Using this formula you
can treat 10 cats under 9 pounds.
I apply the minimum effective dosage which is about .05 ml per pound of
body weight, so 4 ml will treat 8, 10 pound cats.
