How can you be sure that these meds are the same strength, or the
proper dosage for your cat?

They actually have an "Ask the Vet" section where you can discuss your
pets needs with a certified pet care professional if you don't already
have a prescription from your vet. If you do already have a dosage set
up from your local vet as we did, you can simply order the exact same
medication that your pet is already on rather than going back to the
vet for a prescription refill and wallent emptying. If you are looking
for another option, try the following link, we have used them as well
and they offer free shipping along with live Q&A support right on the
website:

Why not, we force our senior citizens to resort to imported drugs of dubious
quality every day. Do you think I'm going to get better drugs for my cat
than what I have to get for myself? Let's put this in perspective.
