pets poisoned in china

Apparently about 200 dogs have been poisoned in China.  Someone leaving
chicken with a purple crystalline substance that is some sort of pestiside
related to a nerve agent.  Anyone know what the pesticide is?  I assume its
works as well on cats.

I used to take a purple crystalline substance called purple microdots
and also something called purple haze, better known as LSD. What a
trip eh?
