Is there a way to disuade cats from visiting our yard?  Is there a spray or
something one can use to discourage them from visiting?  We dont want to
take a chance with them hurting our indoor cats if they happend to get out..

Any thoughts welcome.

usually what works is a spray bottle full of kerosine, and a thrown match, a
running meal makes for a brief bit of quality entertainment.

Perhaps you can use products like this:

and turn them off if your cats want to go outside.
