Have you used some of those filtered water dispensers like Drinkwell.? Where is a good place to buy those online and save from the $50 there are at Petsmart? Seems like that wold be better to keep water from getting spashing out to much. What variations are there on the Petmate? I see the Drinkwell yo can get various water sizes. the Petmate looks kinds of small for water resevoir. It holds a lot of water, I only have to refill it about once a week. Very noisy motor. I then bought the Drinkwell with the extra reservoir. I'm very satisfied with the unit. Quiet motor. Much better design in all respects as far as I'm concerned. Avoids the dish like anything and prefers to drink straight from the tap. I have to make sure I have at least some water in the bath all the time. The drinkwell looks great. Wonder whether I can get one over here. |
