Help! I have been treating my cat for fleas (which I didn't discover
she had for quite some time, since she has very dense hair and is an
indoor cat), and the treatment seems to be working, but now it looks
like I have fleas!
My cat sleep right next to my head at night, so I'm sure that some of
those fleas have jumped on to me. I wash my hair twice a day, but I
don't think I'm getting them all.
I can't find any info on the internet that tells me if it is ok to use
cat flea shampoo on humans, or if lice shampoo will kill fleas.
Any advice out there??? I feel so gross!

You need to treat the house for fleas - you are not a "proper flea host",
but yes they will sometimes jump on you and take a bite. Although they do
prefer animals. Check out your vet or local pet store for decent flea
products to treat the house - do NOT use Hartz/Sargeants! Flea bombs are
good - but you and any animals need to leave the house and then you retreat
the house in a few weeks. Get yourself some Advantage or Frontline for the
cat - that is the most effective flea product - the flea jumps on and dies,
and the population dies off.
