For a couple of weeks now my cat has been making a noise something like a deep
sneeze, & when he does, there's a little bit of blood coming from his nose.
Help! What's wrong & what can I do?

Are you really too dumb to figure the answer out yourself or what ?!?!? Were you born
this dumb or did it take a lot of practice ?!?!? What would you do if it was you having
that trouble ?!?!?
Wait long enough and you will mot have to ask, maybe. You might just be able to bury the
furbaby !!! Geeze, the moronic questions that people ask !!!

Of course I'm taking him to the vet. This is a scary experience, & I'm sad that
everyone managed to write responses that were insulting but not informative.

It could be anything - serious or not. Once as a child I had a non stop
bleeding nose, it was harmless but had to get fixed.
Hope it's just the same for your kitty.

I am just appauled at the complete rudness of some people on this site. I
mean this person had a ligitimate question and you made them feel like an
idiot .I have had a simliar thing going on with my kitten and have taken him
to the vet and they have determined he has a vitamin k defficiency but also
think it my be a disease he was born with. My point is I believe the person
asking about the cat sneezing and blood comming ot of it's nose, just wanted
to see if anyone else has witnessed the same symptoms with their cat. To
those of you that were so insensitive and rude to this person shame on you.
I; to put it in tems you'll understand I hope reading this makes you feell
like s**t. Lisa T
P.S Haven't you ever heard the term "If you can't say something nice don't
say anthing at all."

Cats can get an upper respiratory infection, which is basically a cold.
like your own cold, if their nose gets too raw from sneezing a lot, blood
will come out..
normally for URIs I recommend waiting it out and seeing what happens, but
with blood, it means its getting rough on the cat, and Id recommend getting
him to the vet for some antibiotics to help fight it off.

Mine too. I have no idea what to do. Both of my cats are sneezing. DO you
think it might have anything to do with them costantly escaping the house?
My cats are always trying to get out. What do I do?

This could be somethin like a blade of grass under the soft pallet, is it off
its food as well, as this happened to my cat two years ago.
