My cat started peeing on my leather couch about a month ago and he does it
only every night.  I have yet to catch him but hes leaving big puddles
behined.  The cat litter box is right next to the couch and he still uses
that normally all day.  I closed the door to the room the couch is in and
moved the cat litter box, but then he pee'd on my other leather couch.  He
wont pee on thatcouch unless that other one is not accessible.   I read
online that it could be that if my other cat was in heat he could be trying
to mark his territory.  I did have a cat that was i heat at the time, burt  i
went and got her fixed shortly after that and hes still doing it.  Then i
read it could be a bladder infection, but the doctor told me that if he was
only going at night that it probably wasnt that.  Its starting to make my
couch smell awful.  Hes only 6 months old and fixed.  I dont know what to do!!
or what to use on my couch to eliminate the smell.  help!!

Well, the standard method is to rub his face in it, and put him
outside.....If he's an indoor cat, you can rub his face in it and put him on
his litterbox. - They make "kitty off" sprays that are supposed to turn cats
off of selected places by making them smell bad to cats, but I've never
tried any of these, so I can't really recommend them.

Idiot. You have to catch him doing it, to use discipline

From my experience, once they get pee smell on something,
they will keep going back to it unless you remove the smell.
Clean it as well as you can.

Keep it covered with plastic when not in use.

Keep the litter box clean.

If you see the cat do it, yell, chase the cat, whatever.
It will make you feel better.

It won't stop the cat though.
