Take a dirty shirt  and wipe your smell on both of them

Talking of smells.  If you want to keep foxes off your property and
away from your cats, chickens etc then do the following.  Collect human
hair, maybe a barber or hairdresser will help you, and place human hair
in a pair of stockings.

Then place the hair filled stockings on your fence and secure there.
The scent of human hair will deter the foxes from coming onto your
property.

Hmmm, Do you think that would work for "Jehovah's Witnesses" too ?

What I always do is open the door to them and quote from the Gospel.
Telling them I am a Catholic and have to give blood seems to give them
a long face.

I now have a decent spy hole built into the door knocker so I just
leave them out there.

A pentagram works better.

A mezuzah (Jewish door ornament with scripture usually inside - although
they're sold w/o the scroll FYI) on the door will work. They won't come back
once they  notice it.

Would I be able to get one of them online ?  I am a Catholic myself but
would a Jewish person object to this ?

Sure you could get one online. Why would a Jewish person even have to know
about it? Just hang it on the doorjamb and point to it without saying
anything. And Smile.
Just saying...
Kathy (I'm not Jewish either - the house came with one)

Nothing will deter a Jehovah's Witness.....They believe, (like most
Christians) that they are duty bound to recruit other religious people into
their faith. They think they will get brownie points toward their own
entrance into heaven by doing this, just as radical Muslim Terrorists
believe they will get their ticket into heaven by killing infidels. No
amount of logic and/or profession of another faith will deter them from
their "appointed rounds". I am 72 years old, and have been observing the
religious my entire life. I suggest that you just hide. Acquire some method
of observing who is at your door before you open it, and don't open it to
two people dressed in suits who appear there on Saturday mornings.

I go to mass regular but I subscribe to the point of view that Christ
did not at any point in the Gospel say that people had to follow him.

We got Saints for everything, St Francis for our pets, St Michael for
parachutists and so on..

I live in Politically Correct UK and as it happens I live in an area
that has a large Jewish population.  I am not worried about the Jewish
neighbor, it is the Mayor and his thought police.  Chief Commissar
Livingstone has anti- Semitic tendencies though but you never know.
