Hi!
I was toying with the idea of tracking my cats movements and the
obvious way to do this is via GPS.
From what I have read you can get GPS trackers for dogs but they are
too bulky for cats... I am curious if anywone has come up with a
"homebrew" system of any sort or indeed knows of a cat tracking
solution (GPS or otherwise)?
I am not even interested in tracking him in real time - just to plot
out his path on google maps after he returns home so the solution need
only log his location say every 10 mins - I would then take the unit
off his collar when he came home and upload the data....
Anyway, just thought I'd ask, thaks for reading!

You might look into the watches with buildin GPS and tracking
capability.
I wonder whether your cat will cooperate :) :)

yeah I looked into these they might be a bit bulky though. One option
that looks quite good/small is:

As you say however - the cat may not be too happy and I am not too
keen on it managing to claw loose £100 worth of equipment!
Myabe I should just put on some cammo gear and sneak along after him
with a pen and paper :-))
