Was feeding and spending time with one of the strays I am feeding yet since
it was nice and warm (56 degrees) in Michigan today and remembered I have a
camera phone!!! DUH So I snapped a couple pics of the friendly one that I
call Boots cause of having 4 white feet and posted them at
http://members.aol.com/larrystark/boots.htm if interested in seeing him.
I am trying my darnest to find him a forever home but am not having to much
luck though. This is the one that will eat 2 large cans of food a day if I
give it to him and he looks it too. My his looks you would never guess he is
a stray. Plus he loves his hair combed. BUT DO NOT RUB HIS BELLY!! I found
out that is a no-no!!

Something's going on there.
I get two frames, but in place of the pix there's a little
document icon that suggests something's broken.

They are cute looking cats, but just so you know i dont think anyone can
see them without fixing an error in your html code.
All the pics including the background pic point to your harddrive.
Which im guessing shows fine for you but to the visitor like me everthing is
blank and missing
your code looks like this for every pic
<p align="center"><img src="file:///C:/Download/boots2.jpg"
width="640" height="480"></p>
removing thing file:///c"download part and just including the pic name will
make them viewable to everyone
<p align="center"><img src="boots2.jpg"
width="640" height="480"></p>
i hope you understand what im saying and i dont sound like a rambling
bafoon, im just trying to help hehe

Since that one looks like it's hardly starving.
I tend to wonder if it's a stray or simply a cat who's owners installed a
cat door so he/she can go out anytime.
And has discovered that going up to all the houses, gets a free meal at
each.

You can laugh.
But some friends of mine had a cat that they got just weaned as a kitten.
They ALWAYS fed it dry food.
After a while the cat would go outside and be gone for hours.
Then they slowly realized over weeks it was gaining weight, but not eating
any more DRY FOOD than before, and it seemed was eating even less..
They clued in when suddenly their cat would run into the kitchen everytime
they opened a can.
NOTE: This is a cat who never saw canned cat food in it's own home.
Eventually they found out a neighbors kids were feeding the "poor stray
kitty" daily.
And that was only the ONE they found out about.

Sounds like my four cats. We live in a neighborhood of geezers, all of whom
are happy to feed stray cats and anything else that shows up at their door.
So, if my wife and I are ever killed in a traffic accident, our four cats
would be well taken care of by the neighbors. As a matter of fact, when I
moved in, in 1996, a cat came with the house.....Missy is dead now, but I'm
sure that whoever moves into our house won't mind getting a few cats along
with......

A very pretty cat.....Looks something like my BK, who is all black except
for a couple of patches of white on his stomach.
Missy was "the cat with the limp and a lump" who was living on my rear deck
when I moved into this house in 1996. She had a lump on her side, and one
leg was a little shorter than the other, so she limped when she walked. She
could run fine, however, so her limp didn't seem to bother her in any way,
and the lump never grew or seemed to bother her either. I think she was
probably hit by a car or something when she was younger, and her limp and
lump were the long term result. The people who owned the house before me
said she never came inside, and he was allergic to cats, so she lived
totally outside. I trained her to sleep in a heated box in my garage until
my wife's daughter came to visit, and then she came inside from that time
on. She lived a long happy life sleeping by the fireplace until she died a
couple of years ago.

Normaly I would agree with you BUT I seen the size of this guy and the
condition of his hair and such when I started feeding (2 large cans a
day if I give it plus dry that is left out) him compared to what he
looks like now. I have been feeding strays long enough where I (As
anyone who has been around stray enough) can pretty much tell if a cat
is a stray.
I used to feed a neighbors 7 / 8 cats which supposedly had a home
before they moved and left them behind. But they were all found homes
for.
I would give anything to be wrong about this guy but really do not
think I am.

He is beautiful!!!!! I sure hope you find him a home!!! I don't think you
will have any problems.
