Me again...

One of our cats lost a LOT of fur when she went into heat (she went into
heat two weeks before she was spayed, of course). Her entire belly and rear
end, including the backs of her legs and part of the front of them are
pretty bald. The clinic staff said it was probably hormones and that it
would grow back. However, it's not seeming to be in any big hurry to do so.

Anyone have experience with this, or should I be finding a vet?
