Hi everyone

Not long now until our lovely new additions join us and our 5 year old cat
called ROVER.
Yes tonight PORCHA, CHARLIE & CHESTER join us.

I will take lots of pictures and let you know how they are all getting along.
Our main concern is Rover!

We went camping over bank holiday and he really missed us, luckily he was
well looked after by my inlaws.  He was so pleased to see us when we got home
(it was sweet).

I will give them all lots of attention as will my 6 year old son and husband!!
!

Thanks for reading this post.

Charlie, Chester and Porcha...

Jackie fetched them in baskets and Rover saw them and just stayed next to me
really good - he did not screach or anything.
They were let out and they sniffed about...I was loving Rover so he did not
feel pushed out.  He was fine, he went on the stairs and Charlie went passed
him to investigate upstairs.
Porcha amazed Jackie as she thought that she might hide in a corner, but she
sniffed round and she had commented that she had changed since we had gone to
see her....She was all playful and really developed character.
I am so pleased we got her too.
Jackie went and we were left with these 4 cats which in turn all got our
attention.
Jackie reminded me why Charlie & Chester were re-homed and then sent back to
her.....the ladies son developed Asthma so she decided they would not be
suitable.
Porcha was a stray so we are not aware of her history...as the only girl she
has been meowing and looking round...I guess this is normal in new
surroundings and with 3 boys!!!
She was just sat on our window sill next to me where Rover was sat all of 10
minutes ago - she had a good sniff.  I suspect they all want to know one
another.

Charlie rolls over and lets us rub his belly, he has put on weight since we
first saw him 2 weeks ago....

I would really like to hear from you, so please post back.

take care

Cute! Do you still have all the cats in your other pictures and Sammy the
dog? Do you foster cats or what? I don't come here too often, usually when I
have a question. We have seven inside cats, one outside/inside cat and a
dog. All have been strays, except the four youngest cats. Mom was dropped
off pregnant and by the time 8 weeks were up, I was too attached to the
kittens to let them go. They are 3 years old now. Luckily, all are in pretty
good health. My first two (that I had actually got at shelters) had to be
put down at 8 years (renal failure) and 13 years (diabetes). I nursed them
both for a couple years till they were suffering too much. The hardest
things I've ever had to do. Happened in 2004 & 2005 and I'm still not over
them. Our dog is 12 and getting feeble, but I don't want to think about it.
Good for you for taking care of so many kitties!

Yeah they are all cute!
No I put on my past and present pets, Sammy the dog was great but went away
to die - we never found him or his body!(years ago now).  My Mum and Dad
brought me up with pets so I had to carry on having them. Penny the dog was
my Mums baby and what happened with her was a tail.  She had no use in her
back legs when she got older so we got her a trolley, you may have seen them?
her back legs went through and it had wheels on the front.  We were just all
pleased that she could get about and we looked after her, something I will
not forget as a youngster getting her out of this and putting her comfy.  My
Mum and Dad brought some lovely animals in to my life and I am grateful for
that.  they still have dogs and cats now...Although they are down to one cat
now(who I chose) Rosieboy.  2 dogs called Angel and Max :-)
Our current cats are Rover, Porcha, Charlie and Chester - we also have 3 fish.

We adopted our newest additions yes in Donny's memory who sadly passed away
unexpectedly 4 weeks ago.
I will always have cats and am totally happy with the 4 we have got.
Sorry to hear about your cats - no you don't get over them because they are
part of your family. Some people can't understand that and it really winds me
up.
Our 4 are getting on well together and it is nice to see them all in a line
eating together.

thank you for your response
