My cat decides to "sebum" everything in site when he sees me pull one of his
food plates out of the cupboard.

He head-butts, rubs his chin, cheeks, nose.... I think he's just placing
that ode-de-kitty all over the place.

I can stick out my hand and he just butts his head into time and time again
until that food can is cracked open.  Tonight he was even sebuming the food
bowl itself.  It's so adorable!

Mine like to wlak around all of the kitchen where we prepare thier
food.  They will rub their sides along our legs, as if they were
marking us as Their Own.  They go especially nuts when we open a con of
tuna.  Then they start yowling, and giving the most strange sounding
meows. Some of my other cats like to head-butt us as well.  They also
like Saltine Crackers.  Why might this be?

The kitties like the salt on the crackers. My older cat will sit by and wait
for his when I eat any wheat thins snack crackers and just licks them to get
all the salt off then crunches up and eats the now soft cracker. All three
wait patiently in the kitchen for their food and search for me when I do not
come quickly.
