Hi
One of my cat's eyes is red, swollen & weeping badly & he is not happy & is
squinting a lot.
I've just got home from work & it's too late to get to the vet today.
Anyone have any temporary safe remedies?

Thanks in advance..

Human eye wash or "artificial tears" work on cats.

It might even wash whatever is ailing him out.

It could also be an infection that would need anti-biotic.

Probably not an allergy, one would expect both eyes to get that.

The same exact thing happened to my cat and I had to get an antibiotic salve
that I put in the one eye every day.It worked like a charm. You don't even
have to take your cat and pay for a visit ,just explain the situation to
your vet and he can give you the salve.
