We've all seen our cats sleeping in weird positions.
Sitting almost upright leaning against a pillow, laying
on it's back with feet in the air or my favorite, on her
side cuddling a favorite toy.

Today my cat is sleeping like a bear rug.  She looks
so bizarre.  Flat on her stomach, back feet stretched
out behind her, front legs stretched out in front with her
chin on the bed between her legs.  I swear if she wasn't
so fat she would look like a skin <g>

that sounds like a photo waiting to happen.  I actually call my baby girl
cat "bunny girl" cause she often lays like that.. which is much like my
rabbit did.

 too cute!!!! :)

I have not seen any of mine try that pose yet - but I'm sure Tiny Shorty
or Licorice will give it a try.

Cute, that's exactly what she was doing except she had her chin on the
ground...sleeping.  Considering she spends most of the time I am gone
sleeping it's possible this is a common pose.  I just hadn't seen it yet.
I still like the "hugging the stuffed bear" pose the best.

I find the upright position happens when there is a weather change ahead,
and stretched out on the back is when it's raining.

my boy sleeps on his back with all legs spread or on his side hugging
himself...my girl curls herself into a ball and sees how small she can make
herself!
