After trying : 1 Taking the cat to the vet to see if it
was a urinary problem, No the was no
problem
2. Keeping her in a cage at night and
when no one was home, Too hard to
keep up with. ( I have 2 other
cats)
3. Telling her no nicely and showing
her.
4. Loud and firm talking
5. Putting a litter box there. ( The 2
other cats started using it.)
I
I went to the pet store and found Ssscat. It
works !!!!!!! Its a motion detector.
It sprays a scentless spray thats safe, She hasn't
gone on the floor since.
What a great invention!!!! It cost about
35.00 and runs on batteries.

I have had pretty good luck with a complete cleaning, then placing an extra
bowl of food there.
Even if I get lazy with the cat boxes (which is what started the problem)
there were no accidents after that.
Keep in mind, the cat has a sense of smell something like 100 times more
sensitive than you do, and it is at floor level. So a clean box area can
not be emphasized enough. (Also, at least one box per cat and daily clump
removal.)
