This cheeky cat from the neighbourhood comes in through the flap, helps
itself to diet food. Cat 1 does not seem to mind any more after screaming at
it first. Cat 2 never seems to be around when needed and dog is so slow that
the cat usually gets past it unnoticed. How can I stop this? It's a calico
coloured cat so I assume that it's at least not a spraying male.

None of your pets get wound up enough about this cheeky cat to make a real
effort to stop her. So, why should you?

first of all, just cause it is calico does not mean it is female.  its a
rule, not a law.. second.. strange cats coming into your house is not a good
thing.. you never know what they have been exposed to.  She could be
bringing all kinds of viruses in to your cats.

the only way to deal with this besides removing the flap - which I doubt is
an option for you - is to get a radio controlled flap..

Most cats hate the sound of compressed air, and the feel even less. You
could always try doing a little chasing with an air duster if your cats and
disinterested.

Otherwise it's a radio remote catflap I'm afraid.
