To All British Citizens who care

Your Parliament is voting soon to ban the
sale of Foie Gras.

Dr Marc Cooper, RSPCA senior scientific
officer says "RSPCA is strongly opposed
to the production of foie gras whereby
the birds are kept in cages and force-fed
to produce a very large and fatty liver.
This is a cruel practice and undoubtedly
results in unnecessary suffering. We would
encourage food retailers and restaurants
that are currently selling foie gras to
seriously reconsider their support for this
cruel practice."

Please contact your MP to sign
EDM 1247 - 'Sale of Foie Gras'.
Click "Find MP" to email your MP at
http://www.parliament.uk/

Please sign a petition to the Prime Minister at
http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/banfoiegras

The Deadline is 5 May 2007.

Thank You

<snip>

I'm all for banning the declawing of cats, but foie gras is delicious and
I'm unconvinced of the cruelty.
