It seems they found melamine in rice gluten as well, and are adding other
foods...

Yeah, also note that lacing gluten with melamine adds nitrogen molecules
that makes a standard test for protien levels look higher than it actually
is.

In other words, some Chinese guy defrauded the supplier by adding chemicals
on purpose. Lucky for him, his goverment will probly kill his a.s and his
entire family to save face and show they are "doing something" about rampant
corruption.
