Hi, Folks.

I thought you ought to know that one of your respected regular
contributors, Bob Brenchley (known affectionately on uk.legal as
Bullshit Bob) is very unhappy at the current attempt of some of us to
start a moderated UK legal newsgroup (uk.legal.moderated), to the extent
that he's canvassing unrelated newsgroups for people willing to vote
against it.

I know how much BB is respected and admired on the various cat
newsgroups, so I thought I'd just let you know that he'll be very upset
if any of you decide to enter a vote in favour of the formation of the
new group.  Please don't even think about sending an email to
xulm@request.ukvoting.org.uk requesting a ballot paper unless you want
to risk really winding him up.

Sounds to me Marshall, that you're hung up on Bob.

I doubt that Bob gives a "cats a.s" whether out of all the ng's out there,
some of you attempt to start a moderated one.

When it comes to winding up Bob - I doubt anyone can do this, but I see that
he is very capable of winding you up. Otherwise you would not have posted
this dumbass message.

You might want to look at the furore that he is creating in
uk.net.news.config or uk.legal then - he certainly does care and is
making a real offensive pain of himself.

Which shows that you don't know Marshall very well - winding him up is
fairly tricky.

Isn't Bob that horrible person that name calls anyone that doesn't let their
cats roam the dangerous streets?

Apart from the dangerous part yes - round here streets are safe so I let
my cats roam them. Bob however doesn't make that distinction - all
streets must be inherently safe as all cats must be allowed to roam them
come what may
