I have a cat that DOES clean himself, and yet still stinks. He is an outside
cat, not neutered. Any Ideas...... I am so lost, this was a ferrel cat that
was eventually tamed... I cant wash him, or it would be sudden death to me
lol. He literally smells like a dead animal, at 1st I thought maybe he
rolled around in one, kinda like a dog does, but this smell has went on for
ages. Any thought would be appreciated.

Do the world a favour and have him neutered, and whilst he's at the vet get
him to clean the anal glands.

First things first, please have this cat fixed and while you are at the vet
maybe he can tell you what the smell is.
