hi all
Are 14 month old cat " Tinka " has just had a litter of 4, but sadly 2 where
lost at birth. one week later Tinker is doing some ( what we think ) strange
thing. mum and kittens are in a box under are daughters bed. we tried to move
them 3 or 4 days later but Tinka picked them up and moved them back under the
same bed. last night i was sat a the PC ( witch is in are bed room ) Tinka
come in and dumped a kitten at my feet then jumped in a draw in the PC unit
when she use to sleep before she had the kittens. so rightly or wrongly i
picked the kitten up put it back in the box, then got Tinker. she laid down
next to the kittens and that as we thought was that. i was then woken up at 2:
30am by lots of scweeling noses to see Tinker in the draw with one of the
kittens. so as she seamed adamant she was going to stay their i got the other
kitten and put it in the draw with her and she has been fine since.
could any one shed some light on why she would do this?

I can't say why but having seen a few cats give birth,
it's very normal for the mother to move the kittens.
You need to get the cat and the kittens spayed.
If you don't in the course of a couple of years you will have more
cats than you can imagine.

Their used to bne a saying that mom cats wd move there babes threee
times before setting down.
Dunno if three times is just a saying like nine lives but anyway
momcats offen do move their kits.
