Hi, I have a 16 y/o cat that is starting to get kidney insufficiency
and I was wondering if you knew of a supplement I might be able to give
her to help prolong her beautiful life.  She got weighed yesterday and
she's at 6.25 lbs.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

You can learn how to hydrate your cat by instilling 100 c.c.'s of Lactated
Ringers in the back of her neck each day.  Ask your vet to show you how to
do it, you can buy the Ringers inexpensively online.  We were able to extend
the life of our beloved Siamese girl by three years when she had virtually
no kidney function.

I know all about the LRS (use to be a Vet Tech) but wanted to look into
other options since she's just now starting the decline.  A herbal
thing besides the K/D and the LRS.
Thanks though.
