Let me see if i have this straight: you re-united with your ex and
you're complaining that your exes cat has returned even though
it lived there two months ago and you and your ex should be happy
the lost cat has returned.
A lost cat of yours has returned and your other two cats don't want him
back?
I don't get it.

Regret confusion. We found a cat in garden. We found the owner who collected
him. He now returns to our garden and we continually have to contact the
owner to collect him

To me it sounds more like the OP had been looking after a lost cat for a
couple of months, and has now reunited said cat with it's original
owner, but it now keeps coming back to him.
