Hi everyone.  I just wanted to come on and thank everyone for being there
while I have been going through my cat's first blockage last Friday night.
For those who have been following his disheartening progress you know that he
was refusing to eat the Hills S/D diet and the Hills C/D.  My poor guy
basically went 3 days without eating and I was heartbroken.  I went back to
the vet tonight for the third time this week to get the third type of
prescription food they offer, Purina UR formula and thank God he ate and is
eating it!  Plus, he is eating the dry food version of Hills C/D that they
also gave me tonight.  He has been peeing all along but he just came out of
the litter box and when I went to check what he "produced" it was a huge
amount of urine.  The biggest puddle yet!  I know that he is not out of the
woods and that there is always a strong chance that he will block again, but
right now, I feel so much better that he is eating and still peeing.  He goes
back to the vet in about 3 weeks to be neutered and will also have another
urinalysis to see how everything is going.  I am just praying that he makes
it to then without blocking again.  Once again, thank you to all who have
helped me through this and keep sending over purrs to help in his further
recovery!  I am going to finally sit back, enjoy a glass of wine and
hopefully sleep for the first time in a week.  :)  Thank you again everyone!
