Kitten/ Catnip

I was not aware that catnip was a sort of "illicit drug" for cats. I'll
hide the little catnip toys until a bit later in Princess Woodgie's
life. Thanks.

Catnip is totally safe at any age.  It is just younger cats often don't
react to it at all, so there is usually little point in giving it to
kittens.

Connie is dead on. The reason is that catnip is widely believed to be a
sexual stimulant that produces a reaction much like the "Big O".
Obviusly, that means little to a cat who is sexually immature.
