Just curious as to if this should be a problem.
My ragdoll has sensitive eyes. If I get an itchy eye, throat, or a
cough, she almost
always gets pink-eye. Her eyes are baby blue, and it's always the same
one (right one)
that gets infected. The other day, we were hanging out, and she was
looking up at me, and
I noticed her right eye is twitching. It's a slow, steady pulse of a
twitch, but it's twitching.
She's really sweet, but at the same time is more reserved / aloof than
the other two cats.
If you - y'all have any input, lemme know!
Thanks
Suzie

I think I'd ask the vet next time you go in. I don't know how much cat's
eyes are like ours. My eye twitches when I'm tired or have eye strain. I
have no idea how that relates to cats.
As for your cat's infections -- is she getting pink eye from you? I've
had that before, usually from a sinus infection that goes up into the
eye. I know it's then contagious from person to person. Does your cat
get respiratory infections to go with it? I know people with dry eyes
get more eye infections, maybe it's that way with cats too. Some
thoughts anyway...
Good luck,
Rhonda

I haven't noticed any respiratory infections from either of the three.
I know the black one's been doing well, but is thin. They have a self
serve food bowl (two, actually) The grey (older one) is doing very well
for herself, but the white is just average. The other cats don't chase
the black one away from the bowl, so maybe that's just her stature.
They're definately a hand full, but I love them..

Is it just her eye or does any other part of her body twitch? My
furbaby is 18 and has CRF, and after she has surgery she started
twitching, it turns out it she has CRF and that is one of the symptoms.
It's cause by potassium deficiency. Probably not what you cat has, but
a trip to the vet is always best and full blood work will almost always
get to the bottom of a problem.
