Okay, I know I wrote about the litterbox issue but this is even bugging
me more. My roommate's cat, we'll call him Annoying, keeps coming in my
room and eating my cat's food. It bugs me because my cat's food is
expensive, and his isn't.

I try to keep it shut most of the time but this isn't feasible when I'm
not home. I could leave Zeitgeist in my room but he's not declawed and
has already teared up a nice chunk of the carpet (which is coming out of
the security deposit I'm sure).

It is one of those things, my two cat go in the neighbors next door and eat
her cat's food, a cat comes across the road from me and sneaks in the
kitchen and eats my cats food.  It is one of those things that cats do !

GET A LIFE WILL YOU AND STOP YOUR BITCHING ?!?!?

Tell your room mate to switch food or start chipping in on the cost of
yours.

If all else fails get your own place or tell him he has to get his own
place.

I think I'm going to, he's been on the same 4lb bag for months now
because his cat keeps eating mine.

I have fifteen cats and large kittens, and one that needs special
food.  I put him and his bowl on the washing machine along with enough
other stuff that there is only room for one cat - he jumps down when
he's finished and I give any leftover gooshie food to the others.

I have one cat on prescription food, a kitten who is not and can't hve
the prescription food.  I just put the food down for them and then
park myself on the floor make sure each cat keeps their nose in the
right dish.

Another alernative is to put each cat in a seperate room when you feed
them.

I won't leave the food out when i'm gone.   I can guarantee each cat
will eat the wrong food.

I guess I'm going to start doing that. I have a large feeder but I think
I'm going to get rid of it and just feed this guy when I'm home. It's
ridiculous, the cat rarely eats his own food and my roommate says "well,
I don't want to waste money so I'll get the same food when I'm out."
Yeah, well, you'll never run out because your cat eats all my cat's
food!

Time for a new room-mate.
