Hello Everybody,
My cat finally got her scratch post made and she is still using the furniture to scratch.
I did tell my mother to put the post right next to the armchair and move the plant next to it. She didn't want to.
Now I did buy my cat one of those Catnip Pillow toys, which she now enjoys. I first put that toy on her scratch post for her to have fun with. This got me thinking about something.
Is there a Catnip spray (With real Catnip sent) that is non-toxic to pets that I can use to spray on the Scratch Post so that my cat learns to scratch there?
Just asking.

You did three things wrong:
posted HTML
posted an image attachment
didn't search Google for
catnip liquid
though
catnip spray OR liquid OR "rub on"
would be a more productive search.

Is it your cat or your mother's?
Your cat won't use it because your a clueless bitch who posts in HTML.
My cat was reluctant to use the latest (and largest) scratching post I
bought. I placed it near the couch she had begun scratching. (She
still loves her 3 other scratching posts, BTW).
But lately, I've been catching her using it - the blanket I placed over
the side of the couch seems to deter her, and she likes crawling behind
it and sleeping there - or she did until she was inadvertently kicked a
couple of times because she was not visible.
