Hi this is Maria again. I have posted in another thread about my cat Susie.
Susie has cancer and I was hoping that something could still be done. However,
now that time has passed we see that it is not improving, but only getting
worse. We do not want her to suffer, it breaks my heart to see her in pain.
So my family and me decided to put her to sleep. Now I have a question that
may seem odd to some, but I'll ask it anyway.
I am one of those people who believe and hope that after death there is a new
beginning and it is true for animals as well as humans. I believe that Jesus
does not leave animals behind. He takes in so many people who sinned and
weren't the best , while animals don't know sin and they are pure. So
wouldn't he then take them too. Anyway my question is if any of you lost a
pet and had a burial or cremation for them, did you do any special procedure,
ceremony, said a prayer, etc. TO MAKE SURE THAT THE PET GOES TO THE RIGHT
PLACE. I must do what is right for Susie. I don't want her to suffer even
after death just because I didn't know the correct ceremony. I know people,
who lost a pet do all kinds of things light candles, etc. But that's mostly
to make themselves feel more comfortable and to get over their loss. I am not
talking about that here. I'm talking about the PROPER burial. Just like for
humans the priest reads the corresponding prayers, etc to make sure that the
deceased takes the right path after death.
Sorry for such a long message. I am just a little overwhelmed right now.

Dear Maria:
I am so sorry it has come to this, but don't worry, Susie will be
waiting for you at the Bridge. We'll light some candles for her as
well. Good luck.
Take care of yourself.

When I had to put my last cat to sleep a couple of years ago we had
him cremated and the remains were buried at a pet cemetary nearby.
I would point out here in the US of A it is illegal to bury your
cat in your yard.
Also the cat will be eagerly waiting for you at Rainbow Bridge.
As far as the religious implications/questions/etc. i'd recommend
consulting the leaders in your particular religion. I have no
clue what the answer is but i've often wondered about it.

"I know how you feel. when I had my FIRST cat put to sleep I was unable to
sleep or eat. Not a day goes by where I don not miss her. She was my
facorite and will always be in my heart. I know that in my head my first fur
baby will always be waiting for me on the other side to purr in my lap and
sleep beside me. Purrs and hugs to you, My husband and I feel for your
loss.=----

Quantum Physics Product Warnings
As scientists and concerned citizens, we applaud the recent trend towards legislation which requires the prominent placing of warnings on products that present hazards to the general public. Yet we must also offer the cautionary thought that such warnings, however well-intentioned, merely scratch the surface of what is really necessary in this important area. We are therefore proposing new laws that will mandate the conspicuous placement of suitably informative warnings on the packaging of every product offered for sale in the United States of America. Our suggested list of warnings appears below.
1) WARNING: This product warps space and time in its vicinity.
2) WARNING: This product attracts every other piece of matter in the universe, including the products of other manufacturers, with a force proportional to the product of the masses and inversely proportional to the distance between them.
4) ADVISORY: There is an extremely small but nonzero chance that, through a process known as ``tunneling,'' this product may spontaneously disappear from its present location and reappear at any random place in the universe, including your neighbor's domicile. The manufacturer will not be responsible for any damages or inconveniences that may result.
5) READ THIS BEFORE OPENING PACKAGE: According to certain suggested versions of the Grand Unified Theory, the primary particles constituting this product may decay to nothingness within the next four hundred million years.
6) THIS IS A 100% MATTER PRODUCT: In the unlikely event that this merchandise should contact antimatter in any form, a catastrophic explosion will result.
7) PUBLIC NOTICE AS REQUIRED BY LAW: Any use of this product, in any manner whatsoever, will increase the amount of disorder in the universe. Although no liability is implied herein, the consumer is warned that this process will ultimately lead to the heat death of the universe
