Why does my cat

Most of the time my cat 6 months old female uses her litter box.
But sometimes i catch her useing a bedroom carpet.
I also once saw her use the bathroom sink.
Its always pee never a bowel movement.
Any reasons why & sugestions appreciated.

I once had a female cat that preferred the sink over her litter box and
nothing other than keeping the bathroom door closed would dissuade her. Her
nickname became Princess Poop-In-Sink!

Sometimes they just do. My female cat who is 3yrs old since my wife has been
pregnant she will use the bathtub when my wife is in there. But only on
occasion, probably its just a phase that she is going through, the other
thing could be A. How many other cats in the house? B. How often do you
clean her litter box?

Only 1 cat
I clean her litter box twice a day,Morning & Night.
