I had a cat for about I dunno 2yrs. she suddenly started darting around the
house and hissing at air. she would limp on the rear right hand side of her
body. After a while we took her to one vet and she told us there was nothing
that she could do for her. We called another vet and was told maybe we
should have her put down. I ended up getting a farmer friend of ours to do
it for me. This sounds sappy but there are very few days where I do not miss
her and its been about 5mos now. I guess I;m asking if I made the right call
or not. I just want to know if others understand this or feel the same way.

What you're describing sounds like it could have been anything from a
temporary condition to a life threatening illness. Are you satisfied
that your cat was unable to be helped and that her condition would not
improve? What did the Dr. say her condition was?
