Was wondering if anyone has used Zodiac Spot On Plus flea and tick treatment
for cats and their opinion of it. I did a web search and found Zodiac
powder, collars, ETC but not the monthly topical treatment. Maybe I am
searching wrong.
I ran accross a sale on sale it for a very reasonable price compared to
others and purchased enough for my strays for the rest of the summer. After
one treatment it has not seemed to have adversely affected them.
Would appreciate any opinion on this product but I know someone is going to
tell me to stick with the better known ones. Thing is I am retired and on a
limited, fixed income but still want to look after my strays which are slowly
dwindling through the natural process and with finding homes for the younger
ones.
Thanks much.

How much was it? Does the cats try to lick it off after application?
You might try looking up the active ingredients.
If it gets rid of fleas and ticks then stick with it.

I just went to our Wal-Mart and ask this very same question to the sale lady
in the pet area who work as a Asst. Vet before working at Wal-Mart she as
said that she uses the Zodiac Flea and Tick treatment and it works for her
and befor it started to sell in stores the only way you could get it was at
the Vets and they had no probloem with it but please if you are going to use
a Flea and Tick Treatment and you don't know anything about it ask a vet
about it first it free to ask them about it.

Asking a vet is good and I normally do but I found out a long time ago
if you really want to find out about something go to the people that
use it everyday. My vet is good and I trust her with my babies life
(http://vethealthcenter.com/) but every time I ask about anything from
food to meds they always push what they sell. Typical answer is "Well
it may work or not hurt them but you really should use --" whatever
they handle.
Kind of like contractor. You can check and see if they are licensed
but if you want to find out what kind of work they do ask the people
who used them.
